The Saint Louis Public Schools Foundation encourages all citizens to stay informed and advocate on behalf of children, especially low-income children in the City of Saint Louis. Specific efforts we support include the following.

Advocating for public support of quality preschool.
Currently, funding for SLPS preschool expansion comes from a one-time allocation of the Desegration Settlement funding, which will expire in 2018.  For more information about state funding for preschool, CLICK HERE.

Advocating for full funding of the school formula.
Currently, the Saint Louis Public Schools receives only 93% of the funding it needs to operate.  CLICK HERE to read more about the funding formula.

Supporting the expansion of need-based financial aid to support low-income students who are pursuing postsecondary degrees. READ MORE INFORMATION ON POLICIES HERE.

For more information, or if you are interested in establishing a dedicated fund to benefit a specific school or program, please contact Jane Donahue (President and CEO), or Donna Woods (Fund and Grants Management Assistant).
