Nearly 1,400 families are visiting school sites every day to pick up “Grab N Go” meals which include food for 2-3 days.  Since late March, more than 13,000 meals have been provided to families at 33 sites which include both Charter and District schools across the City.  Thanks to funding from SLPS Foundation, adults/caregivers can participate in this program (the District has federal funding to support children who are under 18 years old, but not adults.) Next week, SLPS will transition to opening meal sites 1-2 days a week as a means to reduce exposure. For more information click here.
