We raise community funds and resources, to support funding gaps and proven or promising practices within the Saint Louis Public Schools District. We are committed to ensuring students and families are equipped, both academically and developmentally, for each step in their K-12 journey.

Beginning in 2023, SLPSF will be focused on supporting the District in making significant measurable change in five key areas:

  • Student and educator access to mental health services

  • College and career ready skills and exposures in grades 6-12

  • Educator retention and satisfaction

  • K-8 reading proficiency rates

  • College and career matriculation and graduation rates

Our Approach

  1. Incubate: guide strategy, facilitate design, and provide resources to launch a proven or promising effort in the District

  2. Refine: Facilitate data-informed knowledge sharing, redesign work, and provide resources to codify components of incubated efforts in the District that seemingly work

  3. Embed: Facilitate transition of full ownership (strategic and financial) of a proven effort to the District to sustainably replace pre-existing practices and programs
